I Campionati del Mondo di Kitefoil 2024 apriranno sabato 11 maggio a Hyères, sulla spiaggia dei Vieux Salins.

Christophe Tack è il il Campione del Mondo Freestyle 2014

2014 Freestyle world champion.. I don’t know where to start really.. This season has been unreal and the last few days have been great.. I’m currently sleeping bad at night, because I randomly wake myself up from excitement realising I achieved my biggest dream (so far?). hahah
From the deepest part of my heart, my wish is for people to witness the same feeling I had when I heard I’m the new PKRA world champion. I want to inspire people to do the same, that is: follow your heart and intuition, don’t settle for mediocrity, do something that you love and believe in, don’t surround yourself with people that pull you down. Believe in yourself, even if people tell otherwise … just thrive.. It’s a freaking jungle out there.. I had many doubts too, made big sacrifices and had loads of ups and downs.
This is for sure a highlight in my career.. and hopefully I’ll have many ups (and downs) in the future.. Only time will tell.
I am blessed with my family, it would have not been possible without their support and love. Also a big thank you to; My girlfriend, Helena Brochocka. My friends, from the Ostend locals to the PKRA riders to the people i’ve crossed paths with. My sponsors Liquid Force Kites // Red Bull // Mystic and my supporters from all over the world. Thank you all..
A big shout out to Liam Whaley, his riding is insanely good and has a huge amount of sportsmanship, Thank you for the felicitations and sharing a few beers the same evening! Also to my youth hero and friend Youri Zoon Kiteboarding for winning the event, 3 heavy operations later and still killing it, insane riding!! He has such a strong drive and will, impressive..
Last PKRA World Tour event of the year starts in 2 days. I’m looking forward to have 1 final blast with all the riders before everybody splits up for the upcoming winter break!
